Current Situation of COVID-19 in the Philippines

Globally, as of 5:40 pm CEST, 19 April 2022, there have been 503,131,834 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 6,200,571 deaths, reported to WHO. As of 17 April 2022, a total of 11,324,243,310 vaccine doses have been administered. Almost 457 million people had recovered from the disease, while there had been 6.2 million deaths. The United States, India, and Brazil have been among the countries hardest hit by the pandemic.

As of April 19, 2022 at 5:00pm, there are a total of 32,856 confirmed cases in all the cities

of 4 Districts in Quezon Province. There are no new cases found as of today whilst there are still 6 active cases each from Lopez, Sariaya, Lucena, Catanauan, San Antonio, and Pagbilao. A total of 31,290 recovery has been recorded including the 2 patients from Lopez and Mauban who recently recovered from Covid-19. A total of 1,560 mortalities, 21,680 suspected cases, and 652 Probable cases were recorded as of today.
